In November of 2019 we met Councillor Terrance Paul, the Cabinet member for finance and corporate services at a Newham Council planning meeting on citizen’s participatory democracy. ClimateYouChange members are pleased to have met with local MP, Stephen Timms.   This was the first time that we met him as ClimateYouChange.   For context, group founder, Celia had previously had a meeting with Stephen Timms. This had been during a time of transition. She was moving away from being part of a wider organisation after seeing that their focus was more on activism than education.
