£1.5m Public space community co-design improvements in London Borough of Newham
In 2019 Newham Council launched the Shape Newham initiative, led by architecture practice AOC. Meeting with Newham Council Cabinet Member for Finance and Corporate Services, Terrance Paul
In November of 2019 we met Councillor Terrance Paul, the Cabinet member for finance and corporate services at a Newham Council planning meeting on citizen’s participatory democracy. Presentation at Newham’s Citizen’s Assembly for Climate Change

Meeting with Stephen Timms MP, East Ham
ClimateYouChange members are pleased to have met with local MP, Stephen Timms. Â This was the first time that we met him as ClimateYouChange. Â For context, group founder, Celia had previously had a meeting with Stephen Timms. This had been during a time of transition. She was moving away from being part of a wider organisation after seeing that their focus was more on activism than education. Celia was at this time deliberating on how best to set up a new type of group focus
